These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Recon, an AI-powered business intelligence platform operated by Innavera (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using Recon, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using any part of the Recon platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the platform.
2. Description of Service
Recon is an AI-powered business document generation and strategic intelligence platform. The service enables founders and business operators to generate professional business documents, conduct market research, build financial models, manage fundraising activities, and receive AI-driven strategic recommendations.
AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes and should not be considered legal, financial, or professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing and validating all generated content before relying on it for business decisions.
3. User Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use Recon.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
- You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to update it as necessary.
- You must notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the platform to generate, store, or distribute illegal, harmful, or fraudulent content.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying AI models or algorithms.
- Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the platform beyond the provided interface and API.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute generated content as a competing service.
- Interfere with or disrupt the platform’s infrastructure or other users’ access.
- Misrepresent AI-generated content as human-authored professional advice (legal, financial, or otherwise).
5. Intellectual Property
Your content: You retain full ownership of all business data you input and all documents generated through the platform. You grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide and improve the service.
Our platform: Recon, including its design, code, AI models integration, branding, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Innavera. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to our platform beyond the license to use it as a subscriber.
6. Payment Terms
- A free Starter tier is available with limited features and usage quotas.
- The Pro subscription is billed monthly or annually at the rates displayed on our pricing page. All fees are in USD.
- You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will retain access to Pro features until then.
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days’ notice. Price changes do not affect your current billing period.
- Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Innavera shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the platform.
Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of Recon shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
The platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in activities that harm the platform or other users. We will provide reasonable notice when possible.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice on the platform at least 15 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of Recon after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
